GTA cancellations due to snow

The Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board have cancelled bus transportation for afternoon kindergarten students at all of their schools.

The public board made the announcement at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, saying rides home for morning kindergarten students would not be affected. The Catholic board followed suit shortly after noon.

All of the boards' schools remain open, and bus transportation for other students will continue as usual.

Some buses, schools and other services in southern Ontario have been cancelled due to Wednesday's snowfall.

Several flights coming to and departing from Pearson International Airport have been delayed, as have some GO Trains.

Peel District School Board:

Buses cancelled

Halton Catholic District School Board, Halton French Catholic School Board and Halton District School Board:

All schools and administrative offices closed

Upper Grand District and Wellington Catholic District School Boards:

North Wellington:
All school buses and taxis in North Wellington will not be operating today. All schools, both public and Catholic, are open, except those dependent on transportation. The following schools are closed to students: Centre Peel Public School, Kenilworth Public School, Maryborourgh Public School

Centre Wellington and Town Of Erin:
All school buses and taxis in Centre Wellington and the Town of Erin will not be operating today. All schools, both public and Catholic, are open with the exception of those schools dependent on transportation. The following schools are closed to students: Brisbane Public School, Ponsonby Public School, John Black Public School, Eramosa Public School.

South Wellington and the City Of Guelph:
Buses will not be operating today. All schools, both public and Catholic, are open with the exception of those schools dependent on transportation. Aberfoyle Public School is closed to students.

Dufferin County and Dufferin Peel Catholic School Boards:

All school buses and taxis in Dufferin County will not be operating today. All schools both public and Catholic are open with the exception of those schools dependent on transportation

Primrose Elementary School is closed.

Other school closures:

George Brown College evening classes cancelled

Centennial College evening classes cancelled

Ryerson Open

University of Toronto Mississauga Campus evening classes cancelled

Humber College evening classes cancelled

Hebrew school classes at Beth Tzedec are cancelled.

Toronto East Region Spelling Bee coaching tonight cancelled.

Toronto Catholic District School Board - nigh classes cancelled

TALC Academy in Burlington -- closed

Rowntree Montessori School -- buses cancelled, all campuses open
