GO service resumes on Stouffville Line after pedestrian struck by train in Markham

GO train service has resumed on a section of the Stouffville Line following a pedestrian-involved collision in Markham on Wednesday morning.

GO trains were unable to move through the area following the incident near Euclid and Eureka streets, south of the Centennial GO Station.

There was no immediate word on the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries.

The circumstances that led to the incident are under investigation.
