Nobody was injured after a house caught fire in Caledon early Tuesday morning.

Town of Caledon fire officials said they received a call at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday after a passerby spotted flames coming from a home on Torbram Road between King Street and Old School Road.

Firefighters said they believe the fire started in a rear corner of the home, and spread across the roof.

A tenant who rents the home was away during the fire.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been notified. No estimate of damage was provided.
