Heavy rains prompt high water level warning

cp24.com

A day after heavy rain came down on the GTA, there is still concern about high water levels around the region.

The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority has lifted a high water safety bulletin, which was issued earlier saying rivers and streams should be considered dangerous.

The authority now says water levels are receding and are no longer a danger.

Parents and caregivers are still being urged to make sure children are aware of the hazard and to keep them away from the rivers and streams.
