TORONTO - Toronto police say shots fired near the G20 security zone early today were not G20 related.

Several undercover officers heard the shots fired in the area of King and John Streets, near the security fence that surrounds the G20 summit site.

They spotted a black car speeding away.

Police say they have made no arrests and no suspect has been identified.

No one was hit, but a number of shell casings were found at the scene.
