MIAMI - Authorities in Florida say a former judge who presided in the dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's remains has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

The Miami-Dade state attorney's office announced the results of its investigation Tuesday.

Broward County Judge Larry Seidlin, who left the bench in 2007, is best known for his emotional displays while presiding over the debate on where to bury model Anna Nicole Smith's body that year.

Last year, a complaint was received from a lawyer who said Seidlin solicited gifts from another lawyer who represented clients in his court.
