Barenaked Ladies' singer Steven Page, who is facing charges in the U.S. over alleged cocaine use, is set to appear in the Canwest Cabaret Festival.

The festival will take place at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts from October 2 to 5 in the city's Distillery District.

The festival will include fifty performances by artists from various entertainment genres. Other performers include singers Sarah Slean, Patricia O'Callaghan and indie band Apostle of Hustle.

Page has been keeping a low profile since his July 11 arrest, although he performed at a concert at Horseshoe Casino in southern Indiana the next night. The band cancelled their August appearance at the Disney Music Block Party in Long Island, New York.
