TORONTO - Danny and Kaitlyn have been eliminated from "So You Think You Can Dance Canada."
  
With voting now based on individual competitors, instead of couples, a new record of more than 1.7 million votes from across the country made the decision Wednesday.

The two girls and two guys who received the lowest number of votes following the countrywide poll were Kaitlyn Fitzgerald, Natalli Reznik, Danny Arbour and Miles Faber.

All four dancers had the opportunity to perform one more time.

In the end, host Leah Miller announced Arbour, 26 a Latin and ballroom dancer from Montreal and Fitzgerald 18, a contemporary dancer from Loretto, Ont., received the lowest number of votes and would be going home.

The eight remaining dancers will take to the stage for the Top 8 Performance episode on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV.

The first ever "So You Think You Can Dance Canada" tour was also announced Wednesday night.

The top 10 dancers from the show will be taking their moves on the road to 15 Canadian cities starting Jan. 30 at Vancouver's GM Place and wrapping up Feb 21 in Kingston, Ont..

Other stops on the tour will include Kelowna, B.C., Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Ont, Sudbury, Ont., Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa.
