Toronto Police have found the body of an elderly male in the city's waterfront at Queens Quay this morning.

The man's body was recovered floating behind 211 Queens Quay near York Street about 8.30 a.m after a resident notified police.

This is the area where the Marine Unit scanners were searching for missing 70-year-old Albert Fulton.

Fulton was reported missing since July 17 and was last seen in the Davenport Road and Bathurst Street area.

Police have not confirmed whether the body's discovery is related to Fulton's disappearance.

The person's identity has not been released.
