An EMS crew had a close call when its ambulance collided with a van at a Toronto intersection Thursday.

Police said the collision occurred at Dundas Street East and Parliament Street at about 1 a.m.

One of the paramedics suffered "very minor injuries," a police spokesperson said.

It's not yet known what led to the crash. Police continue to investigate.

No charges have been laid.

Police described it as a "minor" collision.

Photos from the scene showed a van with significant damage to its front end. It's not known how much damage the ambulance sustained.
