Joyce MoroccoMorocco is currently serving her second non-consecutive term on Niagara Falls city council, previously serving from 2003-2006. The married mother of two has previously served as the President of Destination Niagara and was once chairwoman of the Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation.

Morocco plans on bringing several key issues to legislature if elected, including making sure a planned South Niagara hospitalis built in a timely fashion.

“I have lived my whole life here, lived with every population and involved with everyone and the planning for this new hospital,” Morocco told CP24.com.

“I am determined as a mother, a grandmother and the daughter of an elderly citizen in the area to see this hospital built.”

Morocco was recently endorsed by Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati in an open letter given to the Liberal candidate’s campaign team.
