A former hockey coach and soccer team volunteer in Toronto is facing multiple child pornography charges following an investigation from the Child Exploitation Section of the Toronto police.

Police charged 50-year-old Ian Duff, also known as James, after executing a search warrant on a Toronto home on Thursday.

Duff has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and making child pornography.

He has been a volunteer with the following teams in the Greater Toronto Hockey League and the Weston Wolves Soccer Club in various capacities:

  • Head Coach, West Mall Lightning, Atom 'A', 2003-2004
  • Manager, West Mall Lightning, Minor Peewee 'A', 2004-2005
  • Manager, Toronto Ice Dogs, Peewee 'A', 2005-2006
