TORONTO - There were a few GO Transit delays today, including on the newly minted Kitchener line.

The 7:10 a.m. train from Kitchener, Ont., arrived at Union Station 11 minutes later than its scheduled 9:08 a.m. arrival time.

Today is the first day of weekday GO train service between Waterloo Region and Toronto.

The train was initially delayed 22 minutes from the Guelph station due to an operational issue.

The 8:05 a.m. Port Credit train to Union was delayed 13 minutes due to an equipment issue.

The Highway 427 GO bus that was scheduled to leave Bramalea terminal for York Mills at 7:45 a.m. was cancelled, and passengers were accommodated on another bus.
