OTTAWA - Stephen Harper has announced three federal byelections for late November to fill vacant seats in Parliament.

The prime minister set Nov. 29 as the date for votes in two Manitoba ridings and one in Ontario.

The race in Manitoba's Dauphin-Swan River-Marquette riding will be to replace Tory MP Inky Mark.

Mark formally resigned last month to run for mayor in Dauphin after holding the seat for 14 years.

The riding of Winnipeg North is up for grabs because New Democrat MP Judy Wasylycia-Leis stepped down to enter the city's mayoral race.

Vaughan, a Toronto riding, is up for grabs because Liberal Maurizio Bevilacqua resigned his seat in the summer to also run for mayor.
