Police searching Etobicoke neighbourhood for 61-year-old woman missing since Saturday

Police are actively searching an Etobicoke neighbourhood for an elderly woman who has been missing since Saturday night.

Police are actively searching an Etobicoke neighbourhood for an elderly woman who has been missing since Saturday night.

A command post has been set up by police at Woodbine Mall to coordinate the search.

Police say that Rose, 61, was last seen in the Finch Avenue and Highway 27 area at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

She is described as five-feet-six with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a black and white sweater, red shirt, baby blue UGG shoes and carrying a black and white suitcase.

Police say they are very concerned for her health and safety as she is not believed to be dressed for the weather.
