Two separate shootings in Ajax Thursday night, that police say occurred within minutes of each other, are under investigation.
No injuries have been reported, but investigators told CP24 that two residences in the area of Salem Road North and Taunton Road East were struck by gunfire at approximately 10:45 p.m.
A white Honda SUV was seen fleeing the area at that time, police said, adding that no additional suspect information is currently available.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 905-579-1520. If you observe or hear anything suspicious in your neighbourhood, please call 911 immediately,” Durham Regional Police said in a post to X.
