Two men are wanted for allegedly stealing an elderly woman’s wallet and using her bank cards to buy items at a store and gas station in Oshawa.
On Friday, Durham police released photos of the two men in connection with the incident that occurred on July 6 between 1:15 p.m. and 2 p.m. in the parking lot of a Walmart in the area of Harmony Road North and Taunton Road East.
An hour after they allegedly stole the victim’s wallet, the suspects used her cards to purchase various items from a Circle K convenience store and Pioneer Gas Station.
Both suspects are described as white men in their 40s. One stands five-foot-eight to five-foot-nine with a heavy build and a goatee and was last seen wearing a black/grey baseball hat, black Nike hoodie and black/white shoes.
The other suspect stands six-foot-tall to six-foot-two with a slim build and scruffy facial hair. He had on a pink Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, white Hawaiian shirt and red shorts.
