Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot at a business in Whitby on Wednesday night.
Durham police say they were called to the area of Hopkins Street and Nichol Avenue at around 8:45 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found several bullet holes through the business’ front windows.
In security footage reviewed by police, officers said they saw a man fire a handgun at the store at around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday before driving away from the scene in a silver SUV.
The business was closed at the time of the shooting, police add.
No physical injuries have been reported.
