A man is facing multiple charges for theft after allegedly stealing from various Home Depots in Bowmanville and Oshawa for months.
Durham Regional Police say their investigators determined the thefts took place between October 2025 and April 2026.
Investigators allege the same suspect committed 16 separate thefts, resulting in a total loss of more than $5,800.
Police did not disclose what items were reported stolen.
In a news release issued on Friday, police say they arrested 31-year-old Julian Nicholas Phillips from Clarington, Ont. Phillips has been charged with 16 counts of theft.
The charges have not been tested in court.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
