Two men have been arrested following an armed home invasion in Milton last month.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says just before 1 a.m. on Jan. 12, three suspects broke into a home in the area of Walnut Landing and Proud Drive.
Police say two of the suspects were armed with handguns and the third with a hammer.
They allegedly confronted a man in the home before stealing designer clothes, jewelry, banks cards and the keys to a Dodge Durango.
The three suspects fled in a waiting Honda Civic hatchback driven by a fourth suspect.
Police say a woman who lived in the home was hiding for the length of the home invasion.
Six days later, according to police, two suspects returned to the same home and stole the Dodge Durango from the driveway.
On Jan. 29, HRPS officers executed warrants at homes in Toronto and Milton where some of the stolen property was recovered, including the Dodge.
Alex Ghakhar, 27, of Toronto and Ali Zaman, 27, of Milton were both arrested and charged with breaking and entering, robbery using a firearm, and theft of a motor vehicle among other charges.
Police are still searching for the two other outstanding suspects connected to the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact HRPS or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
