A section of Steeles Avenue in Brampton has reopened after being closed in both directions following a single-vehicle collision.

The crash happened on Sunday just after 2 p.m., near Steeles Avenue West and Mavis Road, Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.

They said that the driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with “minimal injuries.”

Steeles Avenue was closed between Mavis Road and Tait Boulevard as police investigated, but has since reopened.
