A man accused of high-end vehicle thefts has been arrested for a second time in connection with more stolen property in Peel Region.
Peel police previously charged the man, alongside another man and woman, in October 2024.
The arrests were part of Project Chicago and Project Blue Streak, which investigators said connected the three suspects to 13 luxury vehicle thefts in the summer of 2024 that topped $1.5 million in estimated value.
Multiple stolen vehicles and illegal firearms were found as part of those investigations, including one that was modified to fire automatically and fitted with a high-capacity “drum” magazine.
Toronto residents Cody Watts, 22, and Brandyn Hunter, 28, were each charged in connection with Projects Chicago and Blue Streak. Savannah Chaves, a 24-year-old Cambridge, Ont. resident, was also charged.

In total, six individuals were arrested.
In a release Thursday, police say Watts and Isabella Krolow, 22, of Toronto, have been charged after further investigation revealed prior firearm and property-related offences committed by the pair.
Peel police allege that in the summer of 2024, the two were in a stolen vehicle and discharged an illegal firearm at an unknown target while the vehicle was moving.
Another investigation – labelled Project Repo – was opened as a result of the new evidence and police executed search warrants at two residences in Toronto on Jan. 23. They say, “A large amount of stolen property was recovered.”
The release also said that Krolow was one of the previously accused in Projects Chicago and Blue Streak.
Anyone with information about the ongoing investigation is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
