Two people under the age of 18 suffered serious injuries after a brazen stabbing in Brampton.

Paramedics say two people were injured, one critically, after a double stabbing in Brampton.

It happened on Kennedy Road, north of Steeles Avenue, shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday.

Paramedics say two people under the age of 18 suffered injuries, including one person who was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

The other person, they said, suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and is receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Police later confirmed that both victims are now in stable, non-life-threatening condition.

It is unclear if any arrests have been made.
