Four people are in hospital and one person has critical injuries after a house fire broke out in north Etobicoke Sunday afternoon.
Toronto Fire Services said crews responded to a two-alarm fire at a house in the Rexdale neighbourhood on Upper Humber Drive, near Finch Avenue West and Highway 427.

One person was rescued during a search of the home, they said.
Toronto Paramedic Services told CP24 that one person was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Three others were also hospitalized as a result of the fire, two of whom were transported by paramedics with minor injuries, while the third transported themselves, they said.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but Toronto Fire Chief Jim Jessop is expected to provide an update the scene at 3 p.m.
