Three suspects are wanted in a smash-and-grab style robbery in Toronto’s Eglinton West area on Monday evening.
Toronto police said they responded to a store near Eglinton Avenue West and Venn Crescent, east of Keele Street, shortly after 8:45 p.m.
Investigators said the suspects drove away from the scene and were last seen wearing black masks and hoodies. They did not provide details about what items were stolen, but said the suspects were carrying hammers.
Police said no one was hurt.
This is the second smash-and-grab-style robbery Toronto police are investigating on Monday.
At around the same time, police said four suspects, armed with hammers, were seen stealing jewelry at Fairview Mall.
