Two people admitted themselves to hospital after a shooting at a tow truck yard in Scarborough on Thursday evening.
Police say they were called to the area of Markham Road and Passmore Avenue just before 5:10 p.m., where gunshots were heard.
Police confirm to CTV News Toronto the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
A dark vehicle drove away from the scene, police say, and no suspect information is available at this time.
When asked if the shooting is connected to an incident on Wednesday night in the area of Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue East where a tow truck driver was shot, police said they cannot confirm it at this time as it’s still very early in the investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
