Pedestrian taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in north Etobicoke Friday night.

Toronto police and paramedics responded to a collision call in the area of Albion Road and Armel Court, north of Weston Road.

Paramedics told CTV News Toronto that the pedestrian’s injuries were serious but non-life-threatening.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene, police said.
