Stabbing in Toronto’s downtown core leaves 1 man seriously injured

One man has been rushed to hospital in serious condition after a stabbing in Toronto’s downtown core.

It happened near Yonge and Shuter streets at around 5:30 a.m.

Police said a man in his 30s was found on scene suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to hospital to be treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have not released any information on possible suspects.
