Police have not released the victim’s name but say he and the suspect, who was arrested nearby, are both believed to be in their 30s.

Duty Inspt. Peter Wallace told reporters that it ”appears they may be friends."

“I must tell you that it appears that the victim and the suspect are known to each other,” Wallace said. “As such, there’s no threat to public safety.”

While officers are still in the “early stages of the investigation,” Wallace suggests that the incident may have occurred inside a unit, likely as the result of “a dispute.”
