The Niagara police homicide unit is investigating after a woman was found dead in St. Catharines.
In a news release, police said they were called to a residence near Lakeshore Road and Lake Street on May 15 at approximately 4:15 p.m. for reports of two people without vital signs.
When officers arrived, they located one adult female deceased. An adult male was transported to hospital for injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening, police said.
Police did not reveal the cause of death or release a suspect description.
