A man taken to hospital after a two-alarm fire in an apartment building in downtown Toronto.
Toronto Fire Services said crews were called shortly after 1:15 p.m. on Thursday following reports of smoke coming from a third-floor balcony of an apartment building near Sherbourne and Dundas streets.
When firefighters arrived, they quickly knocked down the fire and transferred one person to the care of Toronto paramedics.
Paramedics transferred one man to hospital with minor injuries.
