Toronto residents woke up to showers Wednesday morning, and there’s a chance storms could develop throughout the day before clearing later this afternoon.
Environment Canada says the rain is expected to dissipate by 9 a.m., amid a risk of thunderstorms.
Clouds will persist into the early afternoon, when the rain and a chance of storms are expected to make a comeback.
The sun will make an appearance around the 5 p.m. hour. The high will reach 26 C.
No weather advisories are currently in effect for the city.
Conditions will improve on Thursday and Friday, when the forecast is calling for sun and highs of 23 and 27 C, respectively.
The rain is expected to return on Saturday and Sunday.
“Expect bright skies and near normal temps for Thursday and Friday. The weekend is looking a bit unsettled with showers arriving late Saturday and lasting through Sunday,” CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter said.
