Toronto police are investigating a stabbing in Scarborough Tuesday night that left a man in his 50s injured.
Toronto police said they got a call for a stabbing in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road around 8:22 p.m.
When officers arrived, police said they located the victim, who was taken to the hospital shortly after.
Toronto paramedics said the victim sustained serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
In a subsequent update, police said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
No suspect description has been released.
