York Regional Police are looking for at least four suspects accused of deliberately setting a bank in Markham on fire last week.
Fire crews rushed to the establishment in the area of Yonge Street and Royal Orchard Boulevard on the evening of Dec. 22 and found the bank’s lobby on fire and smoke billowing out of the roof.
The fire was shortly put out, and no injuries were reported. However, the fire, police said, was reignited hours later and was quickly extinguished again.

On Friday, investigators released a video showing four suspects being dropped off by a dark-coloured SUV and entering the bank. Minutes later, four suspects are seen running out of the building.
Police said the suspects fled before the fire started.
The only description of the suspects that investigators have is that they were all wearing dark clothing.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7241 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.1800222tips.com.
