NEW YORK -- Here's the latest on Internet gossip superstar Elaine Lui: She has a book coming out next spring.
Amy Einhorn Books has a deal with Lui to publish "Listen to the Squawking Chicken: When Mother Knows Best, What's a Daughter to Do? A Memoir (Sort Of)." In case you didn't guess, the book is a memoir and a mother-daughter story.
Einhorn Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, announced Tuesday that Lui's book is scheduled for an April release.
The 40-year-old Lui is a Canadian TV star known in North America and beyond for laineygossip.com, a website visited more than 1 million times each month. In Canada, she helps host the daytime show "The Social" and appears on the evening entertainment program "Etalk."
