WINDSOR, Ont. - Workers at two Ontario Chrysler plants in Windsor and Brampton were sent home this morning due to a shortage of parts.

Workers at the minivan plant in Windsor were told to go home just after 9 a.m., but the afternoon shift was told to report to work as usual.

Workers at the Brampton plant, which produces the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum, were also told to stay home this morning.

It's not clear if the afternoon shift will be able to work.

The problem in Windsor stems from a shortage of supplies from a supplier in Wallaceburg, Ont., which makes motor and transmission mounts.
