Lady Gaga goes gaga for girl's rendition of 'Born This Way'

TORONTO - Lady Gaga has endorsed a YouTube video of a young Canadian girl singing the star's hit "Born This Way."

The video was uploaded Wednesday, but exploded in popularity Thursday after Gaga shared a link to the video with her 8.25 million Twitter followers.

By late-afternoon Thursday, the clip had been viewed at least 200,000 times, according to YouTube.

The young girl in the video does not identify herself, but has posted previous videos introducing herself as Maria Aragon.

She's from Winnipeg and her profile says she's 10 years old.

Gaga won three Grammy Awards earlier this week.

"Can't stop crying watching this. This is why I make music," the singer tweeted. "She is the future."
