TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed prospect Kenny Ryan to a three-year, entry-level contract on Thursday.

The 19-year-old was selected 50th overall by Toronto at the 2009 draft.

Ryan recently completed his second season with the Ontario Hockey League's Windsor Spitfires, scoring 58 points (21-37) in 60 games.

He won the Memorial Cup with Windsor in 2010.

Prior to joining the Spitfires, Ryan spent two seasons playing in USA Hockey's National Team Development Program.
