A 12-year-old boy has died in hospital following a dirt bike crash in Hamilton Monday.
It happened at a rural property on Binbrook Road at around 6 p.m.
The boy was riding with another family member when they became separated, investigators say.
The family member, police say, later found the boy, who had fallen off his bike and was unresponsive.
When emergency crews arrived on scene, the child did not have any vital signs.
He was rushed to hospital, where he died a short time later.
An accident reconstruction team is currently on the scene trying to determine the circumstances around the incident.
