The driver of an e-bike has serious injuries following a hit-and-run collision in Scarborough Friday afternoon.
It happened in the area of Danforth and Pharmacy avenues at around 2:45 p.m.
According to preliminary information, the e-bike was travelling east on Danforth Avenue when it was sideswiped by a pickup truck.
The truck did not remain at the scene following the collision.
The driver of the e-bike, believed to be in his 40s, was transported via ambulance to a trauma centre in critical condition. His condition has since been upgraded to serious.
Police continue to investigate.
