Toronto police have released security camera video of suspects wanted in connection with a series of bank robberies in North York over the past year.

Police say they believe one suspect is responsible for four bank robberies between 2015 and 2016 in an area bounded by Keele Street, Bathurst Street, Sheppard Avenue and Steeles Avenue West.

Three of the robberies took place between March 26, 2015 and September 5, 2015 at a Royal Bank on Keele Street, a TD Bank on Sheppard Avenue West and another Royal Bank on Keele Street.

In all three robberies, the suspect, police say, entered the banks wearing a face mask, baseball cap and hoodie and presented the teller with a handwritten note demanding money and stating that he had a gun.

He fled the area after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the employee.

Police say the man struck again on April 25, 2016 with the help of an accomplice at a bank in the area of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West.

No one was injured in any of the incidents.

The main suspect is described as a white male who is between the ages of 18 and 20, weighs approximately 160 pounds and stands about five-foot-five to five-foot-eight.

His accomplice has been described by police as between the ages of 18 and 20 and is approximately five-foot-two to five-foot-four with a slim build. Police say he may also have an olive complexion.
