Oshawa couple charged after faking lottery ticket

An Oshawa couple is facing fraud charges after they allegedly tried to claim a fake lottery ticket.

Police say the pair drove to the Ontario Lottery Corporation's Toronto office in August where they presented a winning scratch-card worth $5,000.

The couple, both in their early 60s, are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
