Shooting victim transported to hospital

UPDATE: Toronto police say one man was transported to hospital after he was shot in north Etobicoke Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the victim was shot in the courtyard of a townhouse complex located on Tandridge Crescent, in the Albion Road and Elmhurst Drive area.

The man was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Three men are currently in custody as police search for a fourth suspect.

Two loaded firearms were recovered by police.

Highway ramp reopens

UPDATE: The eastbound ramp connecting Highway 401 to the northbound lanes of Highway 427 was shut down after a truck rolled onto its side Thursday afternoon.

There is no word on whether the driver of the truck suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The ramp reopened shortly after 4 p.m.

Baby ejected from stroller

A woman and baby are expected to be just fine after they were struck by a Cadillac SUV in Richmond Hill Thursday morning.

The woman was pushing the baby in a stroller when she was struck by the vehicle and knocked down. The baby was ejected from the stroller.

Both were conscious and without serious injuries, according to York Regional Police Const. Gary Phillips.

They were both taken to hospital as a precaution.
