Police didn't appear to have a hard time trying to track down a stolen truck late last night due to a couple of mistakes made by the alleged thief.

The truck was taken from a downtown location and wound its way through the city, colliding with a couple of cars on D'Arcy St. before heading eastbound on Danforth Ave.

Not only was the vehicle being tracked on a GPS system, but the thief never disabled the airbrakes, which were on fire along the way.

The truck eventually came to a stop on school property off Logan Ave. where the driver ditched the vehicle - but police caught up with him a short time later and he was arrested.
