Toronto police have charged a 23-year-old woman with 185 criminal offences after officers seized illegal firearms and stun guns disguised as cellphones.

A warrant has been issued for a 30-year-old man who is being sought by investigators on 275 charges.

Police said the pair is accused of importing and trafficking prohibited weapons.

The alleged scheme began to unravel last Thursday when members of the 54 Division major crime unit, guns and gangs unit and Canada Border Services Agency raided a home near Dawes Road and Danforth Avenue.

Police said officers seized a TEC-9 submachine gun, Cobra nine-millimetre handgun, 100 stun guns that were manufactured to look like cellphones, ammunition and other prohibited weapons.

Muna El Badri, 23, is charged with importing or exporting a prohibited weapon knowing it is unauthorized, possessing a prohibited weapon for the purpose of trafficking, and 183 other offences.

Meanwhile, police are looking for 30-year-old Keri McKnight, who is charged with 275 offences. McKnight is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information about the investigation or McKnight's whereabouts is asked to call police at 416-808-5400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
