Police are investigating a series of similar vehicle thefts from the Leaside area Wednesday morning.
Const. Tony Vella says six Toyota Hylanders were reported stolen between 7 and 8:30 a.m.
He says that while the thefts are still under investigation, police are aware of a new method of stealing cars where thieves steal electrical ignition codes with a “Proximity Key.”
