TORONTO - Amar'e Stoudemire scored 31 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Sunday as the New York Knicks beat the Toronto Raptors 116-99.

Wilson Chandler added 21 points for New York and Raymond Felton chipped in with 18 of his own to go along with eight assists.

New York (12-9) has won seven in a row on the road for the first time since the 1994-95 season and has won nine of its past 10.

Jerryd Bayless had 23 points, six assists and seven rebounds coming off the bench for the Raptors (8-12), who also lost to the Knicks on opening night.

Amir Johnson added a career-best 16 rebounds to go with a season-best 22 points. Andrea Bargnani scored 16 with seven boards.

The Raptors finished a four-game home stand 2-2 and have won six of their past nine.

New York jumped ahead in the first quarter and led by seven after three.

Bargnani opened the fourth quarter with a layup that cut the Knicks lead to five, but Stoudemire scored four quick points and Shawne Williams hit a three from the corner to put the Knicks up by 12.

Williams then added a tip shot off a fast break set up by a Raptors turnover as New York put the game out of reach.

The Knicks held a 10-point edge at the half and led by 16 halfway through the third quarter after Chandler's three-pointer and Stoudemire's driving dunk.

The Raptors climbed back to within seven on five points from Bayless -- a layup followed by a three-pointer with 2:52 to play in the third.

Stoudemire, who entered Sunday averaging 24.6 points a game, has scored 30-plus points in four straight.

The Knicks used a 22-6 spurt in the first quarter to race out to a 16-point lead and cruised to a 33-18 margin at the end of the first, thanks in large part to Chandler's 12 points.

The Raptors chipped the lead down to 10 points four minutes into the second but the Knicks had the lead back to 16 before the Raptors made another run. Johnson's tip-in at the buzzer had the Raptors back to within 10, 60-50, at the half.

It could have been closer but the Raptors were just 6-for-16 from the free throw line in the first half while going 20-for-45 from the field.

Chandler had 14 at the half, Felton 13 with five assists and Stoudemire had 12 points and 10 rebounds at the half.

Bayless led Toronto with 11 first-half points off the bench and Johnson scored eight.
