Thieves get away with $3 million in armoured car heist

York Regional Police are looking for suspects after a major armoured car heist, where the thieves got away with $3 million in Richmond Hill.

The robbery happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night on Yonge Street near King Road.

Two employees were servicing an ATM at 12935 Yonge Street when two suspects opened the back doors and took all of the money.

The suspects fled in a dark coloured SUV.
