Toronto rapper Drake leads MMVA nominations with seven

Canadian rap upstart Drake leads the nominations for the MuchMusic Video Awards, made public Tuesday morning, with seven nods.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, was nominated in two "UR Fave" categories, and also for MuchVIBE's Hip-Hop Video of the Year for the song "Successful."

Other multiple nominees include Hedley, Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert, Ke$ha, MMVAs co-host Miley Cyrus, and performer Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Billy Talent, Alexisonfire and Classified. (For a complete list, visit MuchMusic.com)

The MMVAs air live on Sunday, June 20 at 9 p.m. on MuchMusic with red coverage at 8 p.m. The wristband giveaway process for the event will be announced soon, says MuchMusic.
