TORONTO - The top-seeded men's doubles team is making an early exit at the Rogers Cup tennis tournament.

Toronto's Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia lost their quarter-final match today in straight sets.

They dropped a 6-3, 7-6 (5) decision to the unseeded duo of Frantisek Cermak of the Czech Republic and Michal Mertinak of Slovakia.

Defending champion Andy Murray of Britain will get the singles action started at the Rexall Centre.

He will take on David Nalbandian of Argentina in quarter-final play.

Top-seeded Rafael Nadal of Spain, second seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia and third-seeded Roger Federer are also scheduled to play later in the day.
